Our Gruyere of choice is 'Red Wine Farmer' which is a delicious Gruyere, matured to perfection in the Swiss cellars of Walo von Mühenen. This absolute belter of a cheese gets washed in local red wine as it matures which raises the rich, floral flavours of the cheese to another level. This is a perfect example of taking a classic cheese, but adding a little twist to the maturing process to produce something new and wonderful.
This is one of our most popular cheeses over the winter months as it has a lovely warming flavour and the distinct texture of French and Swiss mountain cheeses. This will really round off your cheeseboard but is also a great addition to a fondue or some pasta dishes.
This cheese is made with traditional rennet and unpasteurised milk.
