Bonnet is rapidly becoming one of our favourite goats cheeses. Made in Ayrshire, Scotland by Dunlop Dairy, Bonnet is smooth and creamy with a lightly nutty goat flavour. Made with milk from their own Swiss Saanan goats, Bonnet is matured for between 6 and 10 months, safely wrapped in cloth, Cheddar style and develops a wonderful texture that's neither hard or soft. Coupled with the wonderful flavour, this makes Bonnet a wonderful cheese.
Whenever we see a customer try this for the first time, the look of satisfied surprise on their face is a pleasure to behold.
