3. Delivery

Delivery times (UK Mainland only):

Delivery days are Tuesday - Friday, usually by APC. We do not deliver ON Mondays. If you would like a Saturday delivery then please get in touch to arrange this and get a delivery quote.

We cannot guarantee a next day delivery to the Scottish Highlands.

We aim to deliver all orders within 2 working days subject to stock availability, and no longer than 5 working days.

You will be notified by email and/or text the day your order is shipped. Your order will be delivered the following day.

Delivery is sent overnight from us on a next day delivery service. The cheese is securely packed in cardboard boxes and insulated with straw or packing chips. During the summer months when the weather is hotter, we will also include ice packs. These packs will melt in transit but will help to ensure the cheese stays cold for as long a time as possible. The cheese will smell cheesey on arrival, this is normal so don't worry. Please refrigerate the cheese once you receive it so any soft cheeses don't get too gooey to handle. We do not deliver in refrigerated vans.

We recommend that you state a 'safe place' for the courier to leave your delivery in case you are not in. We cannot accept responsibility for orders without this information.

Our delivery times are for guidance and are not a guarantee. We cannot take responsibility for length of delivery time once an item is dispatched from us to our carrier.

Please note that certain parts of the British Isles including the Islands and the Scottish Highlands are harder to get to and therefore increase the chance of longer delivery times.

We only deliver to the UK at this time.

4. Packaging, cutting and weights

To keep the products in as good a condition as possible we use insulated boxes and packaging, and where appropriate ice packs to keep the products cool in summer months.

Cutting cheese to an exact weight by hand is a real skill and our cheesemongers strive to get as close to the desired weight as possible. If we do go under on a cut (although it won't be by much) we'll do our best to make it up on another cheese.
