About us
The East London Cheese Board is run by Fraser MacLellan, turning his lifelong love of cheese into a business and has been in operation since early 2014, initially selling cheese at local markets and popups in East London. In 2015 he took the plunge and opened Froth & Rind a cheese shop in Walthamstow, London, where as well as great cheese and the usual accompaniments, stocks an extensive range of craft beer. We also have a café on the premises where you can enjoy a coffee and cake, a cheeseboard or one of our delicious cheese toasties.
We love cheese and do everything we can to ensure we have the best cheese around. Our passion is to work directly with the cheese makers themselves so that we can understand as much about their cheese as possible, which helps us to help you to make the right decision on your cheese purchases. We specialise in the best of British cheese and have direct relationships with the makers from big names such as Lincolnshire Poacher through to one man dairies in Northampton or Dorset. We love finding lesser known cheeses as well as stocking the classic cheeses you'd expect and regularly uncover fantastic small producers whose cheeses are regular fixtures in our shop and often outsell the big names.
We are a certified London Living Wage Employer
